For those wondering why Chrono lost, it'd because Leon apparently got no triggers. We keep seeing Chrono getting crits on chronodragons and nextage's attacks but the only trigger Leon got was a draw on the damage check. So basically they powered Leon way down and gave Chrono the miracle triggers he needed to win

+Scorch Ignis That's true, but there's more to look at here. Leon most likely did pull a critical trigger, but it was only on that last attack with Tetra-boil Dragon. Also, Leon pulled a heal trigger when he was at grade 2, but it was shown off screen.

well i started Cardfight Vanguard G 4 days ago and now im all caught up. .. my original intent was to just take a peek at it XD. i could watch the subtitle version of this but i hate having to read and watch at the same time so im going to wait for the next episode. anyway this seems to be a great game (it reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D but with more stuff and skill to it), and the only problem i found was that they didint fully explain all the things about the game back in G but GIRS Crisis is a bit better at that with that. im not a big card gamer myself but the PC version of the game seams in my grasp. with this series the only problem i see is that the intro song doesn't fit the animation like the last one did. other then that its great. :)

I had such high hopes for this season when I watched the previous episode, and then plot Armor returned. Come on, when is someone going to talk sense into Chrono and tell him that relying heavily on luck won't allow him to get stronger? Oh yeah, first they would have to shatter his ridiculous win streak. I love Chrono's character, but as Taiyo pointed out, Chrono's plot armor prevented him from needing to grow. Unless it gets shattered, he won't be able to reach his full potential.

@@Ruggi21 It’s not a matter of luck, it’s the fact that Stride gives access to triple drive so accessing more triggers is factually easier and more common. Even pulling a double trigger isn’t that difficult with it. And in any case, Chrono isn’t Aichi where losing and developing his skills are pivotal aspects to his character growth. That would just make him an Aichi clone of what we already got. Chrono’s narrative isn’t about being an underdog.
