Post human descendants would have to have some data about reoccurring patterns. If it is true that history repeats itself then the conflicts we face today would hypothetically be a touch similar to the obstacles faced by our supposed post human counterparts. Both a failed (what not to do in order to survive) simulation and a successful simulation (what to do in order to survive) would yield useful data... Truth is more things change the more they stay the same and any radical deviation (in either direction) from this rule ALWAYS has negative consequences.

I was hoping for more. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the podcast and will definitely sub. Here by way of Joe Rogan, fyi, but I was hoping for reasoning behind the idea. Just thought there would be more insight into the who, why, and the how, along with both supporting and detracting evidence for the case of currently being in a Sim.

When considering a question, there is always ultimately ONE true answer with thousands and maybe millions of wrong answers... Maybe, the same can be supposed and projected in this specific situation, THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUTH, ONE TRUE REALITY that we can situate ourselves in, and millions and billions of "simulations"...

it depends on what the definition of the word is. if the definition stands the test of the senses, reason and time then that definition is reality. (how'd i do? anywhere close?) of course in some circles all traditional definitions, values, views, etc. are inverted. have a nice day.

I'd be starting with the obvious fact that Sim-Theory is empirically vacuous and then proceed from there.
@thatguynicky19794 жыл бұрын
Interesting idea. If a sim is a representation of reality, does that not imply reality theory is as vacuous?

I recently have been watching Netflix on my phone while simultaneously texting and 2 to 3 times in the past two weeks I have had the person im speaking to texts me the exact phrase at the same time a character on the show or movie says in a coincidental way
@lindzg8555 Жыл бұрын
That happened to me frequently in 2017-18, but not as much anymore. I tried to tell my family & coworkers that radio & billboards, etc. that I was encountering on the fly were REPEATING the words I had just said or the podcast/show I was listening to. God nods? Simulation? It was eery & fascinating. Wish I could harness that coincidence power for some use.

Really awesome. But it's quite annoying to listen to in headphones because the audio is panned almost all the way to the left. I had to not listen to it until I got a chance to listen to it on my stereo.

interesting stuff. Certain knowledge fertilizes balls, even if momentary.But should be enough for a person to take their wheel and drive off road. If acceptance that came from forced adherence into a conglomerate of institutions is removed it fires a few neurons which replaces conduct with action. We already give more than our share of our days to our own lie, a little bit of truth or hint of meaning is always good to go ape shit and do something different,at least until we fall back into complacency. off road is still a road
