To be fair given that the show lasts a few years and around 25% to 50% of small businesses fall in the first year (sad stat) it’s possible that a few opened or closed to help with that never ending rate of being fired.

They never reveal how Nikki ever got the Cacky Barn Retail Associate job, however it seems to me like she got a really good gig. She doesn't seem to be required to wear a uniform, she's allowed to color her hair purple and wear her piercings, on top of all of that, her manager and co-workers are all extremely nice to her. Keep in mind that everything Nikki wears and does is against store corporate policy according to one episode, however the manager allows her to freely express herself. Apparently Nikkis sales were in the negatives... Which makes it a complete wonder as to why they haven't fired her yet (I'm aware that in one episode they explain that Nikki allows the rest of them to make more sales and comission), but this means she does more harm than help and if that's the case, then it isn't necessary having a 4th employee on board. Just the absolute sugar on top, believe it or not, the clones actually do care about Nikki, and while they don't exactly care for her, in several episodes they've shown concern as well as moderate assistance to Nikki whenever she needs it. In other words, all I'm saying is that Nikki actually has a good job, and I really wish there had been an explanation... Anything, any explanation at all would've been nice.
@aceshighdueceslow2 жыл бұрын
I think initially they took her on thinking she might change and then as time went on they figured it was better to keep her around because it gives them security. If Nikki is the one that is the worst employee, that means she is the one most likely to get laid off, or if there is an incident or any number of reasons, they can always point to Nikki and she'll take the fall. Nikki is likely aware of this on some level and so even though she hates everything the Khaki Barn stands for, she probably doesn't mind her set up since, as stated, she doesn't really have to do a lot of work and this took place before the 2008 Financial Crisis, even corporate probably didn't give a shit how lousy a worker she was at the time. Nikki would have very little slack if this were taking place today, that or they may have to spend a bit of time showing us how she got the job in the first place, as opposed to here where we can easily infer that Nikki *needs* a job and will knuckle down to get her foot in the door

Very, very few fans of this series will know that _6teen_ actually began as a live-action TV movie on YTV titled _Web Surfers,_ which was about six teenagers who, after school's out for the summer, create their own chatroom... which is actually a strange program that sucks them into a virtual world and turns them into animated avatars a la _The Pagemaster._ Needless to say, it was met with an overwhelmingly negative reception and drew unwanted attention and mockery from various Canadian news satire shows, leading to its subsequent TV series continuation dropping the live-action part entirely.

For a first episode 6teen starts off funny and strong. This show aged so well and was way ahead of its time. HBO Max should revive it.

Hulu would do such a great revival

Canada has lots of good content! Total Drama, Fugget About It, Being Ian, Atomic Betty, Corner Gas/Corner Gas the animated series, Amazing Race Canada, Trailer Park Boys, Arthur, Ruby Gloom, Rookie Blue, Degrassi, Rick Mercer Report, and many more!

I still think Grind Me would have been a GREAT fit for Wyatt. Charmaine and Wyatt might’ve worked. And his caffeine addiction.

Let’s be honest. All six of these characters would usually blend into their own groups. Maybe some of them can work The stoner skate border bro and valley gal could work sometimes Super straight laced and high anxiety geek maybe The Laid back moody girl and probably and high anxiety geek The jock and the valley gal probably a high chance, but wouldn’t be real The straight laced and high anxiety nerd probably can work too Laid back moody girl, and stoner skate boarder possibly as well have a high chance Realistically In high school, if some of them weren’t dating( other than the ones listed ) they’d straight up either hate each other or just have a hard time connecting until they are adults lol

I really loved this show as a kid. I loved that it was mature as I was reaching puberty and wanted to watch a mature cartoon that isn't childish. I loved that it was inappropriate at times while my best friend hated it coz it was too mature for her...

I never noticed this: Jude has the same voice actor as Chris McLean Eva has the same voice actor as Gwen Jonesy (voices by Terry McGurrin), while his voice actor was story editing the newer Total Drama series, sounds a lot like Duncan (voices by Drew Nelson)
@Little_Eris Жыл бұрын
Technically theirs a couple of corrections I have to make: It’s Jen not Eva And Terry is actually the VA of Don for Ridonculous race(and the new VA for Chris for the soft-reboot) And also Nikki’s VA (Stacey Depass) voices Emma in Ridonculous Race.
