Watched the whole ballgame. Very entertaining. I learned that the 52 Bucs we’re rotten, shall we. Say. The 35 Braves I knew about. Heard a story, true or not I don’t know, but that some pitchers refused to play if the Bambino was in the lineup. The Sultan of Swat we’re talking about. Sure maybe he couldn’t run hit field but who’s perfect? The Braves were so bad I don’t know if they could’ve beaten the Spiders. Please continue the series. Thank you.

I think it is interesting project. There were some good baseball players on the Pirates. They had little pitching. Years ago I had that team in a league on what if sports sims. The objective was to see if you could improve their record. League was decided by improvement of record, not typical. They could not pitch. Thanks for project. 62 Mets? 72 Phillies?

I love it!! What's the over under on errors? I'm guessing 4.5. If you can go back to the 1800s, how about the battle of the 1890s? The 1899 Cleveland Spiders were 20 134 .130. The 1890 Pittsburgh Alleghenys were 23 113 .169.

They're one but in the 1800s, in the NL, there were other teams that had an under .200 winning percentage. These were the 1876 Reds 9 56 .138, the 1890 Alleghenys 23 113 .169, and the 1883 Quakers 17 81 .173. The 1899 Spiders were the worst at 20 134 .130. The 1916 Athletics were 36 117 .235. which is the worst in the NL or AL since 1900.

why do I keep rewatching this particular video? I think this one should go into a video time capsule so that 100 years from now, people will find a way to view it and wonder how people were so much smarter 100 years ago. They will then research what this game of baseball was all about.
