Couldn't agree more with everything said. This is fundamental to our work. Good choice for a first episode. "No writee, no jobee".

This is terrific! We were just discussing the many different types of “spikes” on a public forum... Have also had discourse between a brass and a bronze disk, once tarnished we were not sure, but aluminum was never a question. My biggest pet peeve is people righting “standard” or per something but with out the description...

Thanks Venyssa. Alot of younger generation surveyors may have never seen some of these types of monuments since we rarely set them anymore. Thank you for the comment!

Bravo. There is really no reason not to accurately describe a found monument, even if it means putting your face in the dirt to do so.
