Thank you my Kenyan sister. Hongera! We need to create more people-to-people ties between our two nations. We enjoy one of the most peaceful borders in history actually, the kind that the USA has with Canada, two peoples that are cousins with destinies combined. 🇹🇿🇰🇪 Forever!

In December 2020 i took this trip and i recall paying about $25. The exchange then was about 100 Kshilllings to $1US so I guess they retained the 2020 rate in Shillings otherwise an adjustment to todays exchange would be 4500 Kshillings. I wonder if they are still turning a profit at this cost. Beautiful drive and as you stated the Namanga border does slow the trip a lot for the border checks. A memorable trip which i hope to take again one day. Thanks for sharing!🎉

Thanks for watching. Perhaps it will also depend with your mode of booking. If you're booking through online apps, the rates tend to be slightly inflated. Just curious to know, did you use the normal 22 seater shuttles and how did you book it?

Nice looking place ;Brightstar. Was it reasonably priced compared to Nairobi?
@beckywanyonyi11 ай бұрын
Considering that Arusha is a gateway to safari destinations and to Mt.Kilimanjaro, the locals are more tourist aware and prices are slightly high compared to Nairobi which is a huge city with numerous accommodation options i.e hotels, lodgings, airbnbs etc to suit your budget. So I'd say it's reasonably priced compared to other accommodation options within the Arusha area.
