I feel every show has wigs because it’s hard to change their hair, like act 1 she has the braid, then act 2 it’s a bun, then in a crown of thousands it changes, and then back to the bun. :O I love the wigs so much!

yeah most actors on broadway wear wigs, for simplicity and so their hair matches the character

It also creates symmetry between shows. For example if an actor parts their hair differently or it dries differently, it could mess up the image of the show always looking the same.

I saw them this past Saturday for their evening performance; my friend and I were dying in the rear orchestra! This show is everything! While we weren't able to do the stage door afterward because our bus leaving at 11:00 pm, I just want Christy, Derek, and everyone else to know that the show was PHENOMENAL!!!
