I just found your channel, and will be watching more of your videos. I really look forward to you crocheting different granny squares. :D Regarding the middle of this square: your middle looks like double crochet stitches to me, and according to the picture they should be half double crochets, which are shorter. This will "fix" the bigger holes that you have, if you want to test this square again :)

That looks SOOO complicated! I don’t know that I couple read a pattern like that if I tried really hard for a year!
