I have found your podcast to be such a warm/fuzzy experience. To have mother & daughter exchanges of inspiration and creativity with an open and accepting feeling is quite hopeful at this time. Loved your conversation! XO

I love that you Sherri, as a mother, have your daughter quilting too. I have tried to get my daughter to sew, but no. She actually designs jewelry, as she is very creative.

I read your blog, watch your videos, and I will love listening to the podcast! I cross-stitched while listening, and I felt like I wasn’t wasting my time on either. Listening while stitching keeps me in a rhythm. Great job!

Great podcast! But as the others said, it would be fun to be able to see your finished projects. It would be great to see the interaction between the two of you as well. I sew and quilt with my mom as well so it’s fun to listen to another mom and daughter duo.

Have you finished, Where the Crawdads sing? One of my favorites. You should read, One Good Mama Bone. Excellent book. Love you quilting. Just found your podcast and I started at episode 4 and worked my way back. Love that you now have the video.

Interesting you said making small projects. I have been doing the same thing. Thanks for making me feel normal lol. Love y’all are mom/daughter team. I lost my mom and inherited her machine and fabric and fell in love with it and wish I could have sewn with her. Weird not watching y’all but just listening but I like it. Looking forward to more

I’ve been working on small projects recently too. For quite a while I’ve been wanting to make some miniature quilts to put on my walls in the sewing room. So much fun.

Chelsi...my daughter and I love Heartland...great show! I love that it is family friendly...don't have to worry about bad words and my girl (she's 11) loves horse, so it's a win for both of us! She sits next to me while I sew and we listen together. And Sherri...thank you for the BOM on your blog. It's nice to have something to look forward to right now. Love your fabrics and patterns...can't wait to see the new collection. Take care.

Maybe I missed it but how did you two hook up/ start collaborating together? How do you start designing fabric? Do you design a quilt first and then think...this kind of fabric would go good with this pattern...or do you design a fabric first or does it matter? I just think it would be a fun career. I always wanted to quilt but the binding scared me and didn't have anyone to show me how until I learned on KZbin. After my first binding I was like..that was it? I could have been quilting for decades! I started teaching myself about 8 years ago. Sorry, I'm rambling!

I loved that it was like radio. I put my headphones on and continued sewing. It was lovely not to have to keep looking up at the phone screen to see what was happening. How old is Chelsi's daughter that is learning to sew?

What is the pattern/name of the quilt hanging behind you in the stationary photo? What fabric line was used?

Since I don’t usually listen to video and read the subtitles, I guess I’d rather read an article. I’ll try to catch up in July when there is video.
