I don't usually find myself in such agreement with Frank's ideas, consider my interest nicely piqued with this death race concept he's floating! Hmmm, hints of a second venue, no matter how quickly the conversation moved on from that!! Great racing action that in parts could have been sponsored by Dramamine! Spin Cycle, engage!

Some more spectacular racing, as expected at the Canyon. Gotta say, I know the Outlaws are generally restricted to American/Aussie cars, but if cars from other countries were allowed to enter, the XJ6 and Escort, being pretty quick in stock form, and being recent release castings, could be pretty basis for Outlaws cars. Plus, they're era-suitable cars for Outlaws competion, with the Jag being a 1977 and the Escort being a 1978 (going off the info on the back of the US-market cardback). Or, perhaps an International Outlaws division? That could be fun.

Yeah, some of those would blend in nicely. I have joked before about trying to sneak in a 1970's Nissan Laurel - certain model years are pretty much Japanese Mustangs design-wise 😂 But the theming is good and fair as it is already.

Look at those French blokes trying to sneak in on the action 😂 May need to check the track for oil slicks too.

TBF it's a bit of a grey area. The Talbot brand did split into a French arm and a British arm at one point, and would briefly return when Peugeot took over Chrysler of Europe (which was also a mix of British and French brands, lol).

Good fun and exciting racing. Although I don't believe the Ford Escort is a Brit made car. LOL! Every moment totally enjoyed. Great event and commentary. LOVE the Chaos commercials. Absolute brilliant over the top production. Cheers mate. "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo! 🤙🏽

Sure, Ford is a Detroit-based company, but the Mark II Escort was designed in the UK & Germany and mostly built in those two countries (with some built in NZ and elsewhere). Ford Europe produced a different range of cars from Ford US specifically for the European market. They were very common on UK roads in the 1970's and 80's.

@@richardmorgan9273 Very Cool. I knew GM and Chrysler/Dodge had overseas manufacturing. Goes to figure Ford would as well. Excellent knowledge. Mahalo Richard. 🤙

I love how we can all share knowledge without getting butthurt, especially when it's about cars Ford is definitely an American brand but the Escort (for me at least) was always a British car that was absolutely thrashed to death by us Kiwi teenagers back in the day

@@enzedracing3641 I totally agree. Being on 1 side of the world or the other we see different things. It's cool to find out about things across the ponds. Being in the US all my life I'd have never known that without the sharing. Cheers mate.

A couple of those Brits showed the value of just racing your own race rather than trying to block or react to the opponent.
