3:15 I really appreciate the fact that a new clue drops every day. In most other KALs you have to wait a week or sometimes a month. This is perfect for me. Something that I can accomplish in an evening. I found 10 books on Amazon.

Day 10: Arne & Carlos have published 10 books to date❣️ How lucky are we for their hard work and sharing their knowledge! As a beginner to colour work I have managed to keep up everyday and it can take me anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours to knit 6 rows. Some days it feels like I have 10 thumbs but I do believe by the end of the stocking I will feel more comfortable with 5 needles and 2 yarns in my hands! 🧶🧶. LOL 😅

I'm using wool from a large cone of cream-white wool, originally to be used for making rugs. I suppose, as it is pretty coarse. I dyed some of it in different shades of green like a forest and a tomato-red in addition to the white. As a result my stocking is going to be the size of a giant, but it is really great fun ;-) And nice to listen to all the stories that come alongside! I think there are ten books out, as original manuscripts. But multiplied by all the translations you can fill a large bookcase I suppose....

Yesterday was nerve wracking! I have never done an afterthought heel. It took me a moment to figure out how to add the scrap yarn. Done! I remember I Love to Love, but not Eurovision: I lived in South America at the time and Eurovision was not a thing down there. I have started the mini sweater advent calendar and thinking of learning to do the balls as well. So, if I like making the first ball, I will get the Christmas Ball book - my first of the Arne and Carlos' 10 books Thanks for all this!

I watched your Dolly Parton baking video before I went to bed. I laughed so much and got a better night's sleep than I've had since election night. Today I only made a couple of small mistakes that I quickly caught, so my time improved to 40 minutes for the 6 rows. You've published 9 hardback books together, 1 booklet together, and 1 hardback book with other authors, so depending on how you are counting your published books, the answer could be 9, 10, or 11

Day 10 and I am keeping up nicely. I am not very good at colourwork, however, I decided I will try to learn to use the colours in both hands. I struggle at times, but I am persevering and hope by the end of KAL, I feel a bit more comfortable. I usually knit in the English manner, so using my left hand and trying to get the tension right is challenging. It is taking me about an hour to knit the six rows. And I believe you have published 10 books so far.

Takes me about an hour to knit the six rows. I’ve been knitting for about 18 months. I’m a slow knitter and learning so much. Mainly knit English, but learning Continental as well. Comes in handy when knitting with two colors. Thank you for this wonderful pattern.
