Charleston is my favorite city! If you go back try Rue de Jean, best french restaurant in Charleston! Near it is four free museums, one of which is supposedly haunted by a General Beaumont. One of the women working there closed the door to the room I was exploring and told me all about him and his haunting deeds for a half an hour. Still don't believe in ghosts, but you better believe I told his portrait goodbye anyway. Creepiest/best way to spend an afternoon.
