Yeah to me Toprak and what he’s done /doing is far more impressive .. he’s literally outriding all others ,nothing against Alvaro but the Ducati is obviously a far more powerful machine ..any where there’s a long straight and he’s within a handful of bike lengths of the lead he’s all but guaranteed to make the pass …seeing him do it before He was out of the corner in the first race was Impressive riding though ….well they’re all Impressive to me lol

Can’t believe the skill of Toprak ! He has no right to keep pace with that Ducati/Bautista combo ,and yet if he makes Alvaro have to work for it ….if he had a couple more ponies he’d be leaving everyone in his dust …. So Bautista says being 12kgs lighter has it's own disadvantages too. He complains about the difficulty to control the bike at the corners and especially under windy conditions bla bla. The real thing comes in 2 folds. He gets better acceleration to the top speed (this is very noticible at the exit of the last turn) not only because he is lighter but also because his light weight saves tyre wear throughout the race. Toprak says at the last turn despite he gas up to max rear just spins with no grip. So the combined weight limit rule is reasonable.

Normally i don't support one with the best machine, but here everyone is against Buatista, media, commentators, fans (most of them) but things are not is like that for Max in F1, this is why Bustista's wins are more valuable, 1 straight, 15 corners, if he's all straight line speed, even that bike bounces/wobbles on the straight, not many people keep on opening gas like him, like can anyone else beat toprak even with that ducati? forgot all the corners, 15 of them? Yes sure youre fast on the straight but there's a corner coming, and you will have to slow down much much before than other bikes. Also Ducati market cap is 400million euros. Yamaha is 80billion euros. They have 200 times more money than ducati to spend on getting their bikes better. They dont coz its already good. Ultimately its riderVrider. And Alvaro is better than Toprak this season

But in the top 5, there's 2 Ducatis 2 Yamaha and 1 Kawasaki. Its not the bike, its the rider. Redding had the same bike as Alvaro in 2021 season but Toprak and Rea beat him most of the races. Toprak and Rea couldnt touch Alvaro this season. He finished by 5-6 seconds ahead of the 2nd pole winner
