So there it was, the first day that I actively went off-roading on my own. I did ride quite a bit in Morocco but only in a group.
I'm still far too insecure and slow on off-road tracks :D but that's why I do it. There's a big difference between simply following behind and actually riding alone :D When I see others riding at a certain speed, I know how fast I could go. On top of that, there were a lot of people and animals on this track.
All in all, I'm glad I booked two more tours in Spain afterwards. There is still a lot to learn!

Riding alone is demanding. It would be unacceptable if you would have crash and be hurt. Therefore you have to be extra careful, especially with a heavy bike. @@Canada1608 I spent two weeks in Morocco touring from Marrakesh to Casablanca to Essouira to Agadir. It’s a place where people will help if you need it but there are too many waiting to ask something or others that will overcharge you for something because you a foreigner. You can never just see and buy. Everything is a different price depending on whom is asking. It’s frustrating.

I also ride 1200 GS. First time I noticed no windshield. Unfortunately they are almost always the first to break if you drop the bike. You are doing great. Being by yourself makes it that much more difficult Especially if you fall. At 69 I no longer ride off road by myself. Luckily I am able to ride with my son and two friends. A fully loaded GS is no joke to pick up when you drop it. I always say it’s not if you drop it but rather when you drop it when you off road.
