As a Catholic, I believe in Biblical inerrancy. However, I don't believe in your inerrancy when you interpret it. That's the problem with Protestantism; each man claims that his understanding is more correct than the next man's, yet, none can explain how he is able to claim more authority than any other. Protestantism is spirit of rebellion against the authority which Christ Himself has established in His Church. Protestism is an irrational spirit of rebellion that simultaneously makes two contradictory claims: 1) No earthly authority exists to ultimately interpret the Bible. 2) Each individual Protestant behaves as if his interpretation is more authoritative than the next person's. So this question must be asked in order to reveal the irrationality of the Protestant position: What makes your individual interpretation of the Bible more correct than any other person's?
