Exploring new spots along Highway 4. No luck finding the trout on Angels Creek, got one bite at Calaveras Big Trees and found the fish at White Pines Lake although I couldn’t make them stay on the hook.

You never hold your trout by the jaw, it is not your local pond bass, you make it broken and they will die after you go home even if you can see them swimming away ok.

I rotate between a few brands but the fish were hitting SDO (Super Duper Outdoor) Spoons at White Pines Lake during this video. On my recent video at White Pines Lake, I got them on Outkaster Spoons.
