A lovely composition Xin, I'm sure they will be fused at the base within a couple of years!

We missed you today Xin! I think if you bend down the side branches, you have to bend the others.. otherwise they are not harmonious. My 2 cents! 🐦💙

Yes I do agree with that, it just doesn’t look good from the side view. I did not want to drive back in the dark while it is snowing. Glad you guys made it back in one piece lol

That base line is so elegant, Xin. I’m digging it. Your confidence is growing every episode brother, and it shows. You may have to change your title from Maybe to Definitely (or at least to Pretty Darn Sure)

Nice pruning. You are the designer. Whatever you decide will be what the tree is. That branch or trunk, sleep on it. If you decide to bend it a bit, then do so. Just give it some thought and look at it in different ways and bend with your hand to see how it would look. After all, with your great surgical skills, whatever you decide on will come out great.

Thanks Tom, I think bending is the way to go to balance the design 👍🙏

Very nice work Xin. Yes to the lean for the two in question. I totally agree about the bare trunk issue. If I were to be hyper critical the vertical panelling n horizontal dado rail make it difficult to clearly see what you’re demonstrating, a shame cos your reasoning seems spot on. My Ficus fusion continues to loose leaves! God bless you 🙏✝️ ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️

Thanks Gaye, and yes the angle isn’t the greatest. I need to utilize my turn table instead of moving around the table. Once the tree is a little larger I find it hard to get the right angle. Maybe I need to do more close ups instead of trying to fit the entire tree in the shot
@gayefanner7312 жыл бұрын
Well, I like the way you’re doing it, it’s great to see the whole tree but... would you consider temporarily covering the panelling immediately behind the tree? Thanx for sorting the ads medear, I want to put a guitar but I’ll let you off this time ✌️

@@gayefanner731 the panel covering will have to get approved by the wife lol

Of course, God bless her. Just a piece of card propped against the wall during filming would do! ✌️

Thanks Xin! I have the same tree and never knew what exact species it was. So glad you cleared it out. Another splinter removed from the bonsai brain 😀. I would wire out those branches you mentioned. 2 or 3 wires and you are set, right? Great video, thanks and take care.

Thanks Tim, yes I think wiring down the other branches would be best! Hope your tree is doing well!
