Small hydraulic ram makes it easy to get the bearing / seals into the diff housing. Or threaded Rod with a plate across it.

PS, if you get the front axle rebuild correct, it will be the last time it ever needs doing. They ( apart from the CV’s ) don’t seem to give much trouble.
