Episode 12: Wiring Panel and Track Power

In this layout update I'll show you the wiring panel that I added. The panel will organize my existing and future track power distribution and command control components. A short moveable table under the panel is used to hold transformers. I run all my trains in command mode but it will be good to be able to shut track power down quickly to avoid an accident. Hi Ken, do you have your DCS system set up to operate TMCC using that special cable from MTH? I think MTH did this also for Legacy but you lose some features.

Howdy and welcome aboard. I did a video on how I setup TMCC with my DCS system. Yes, I try to make some progress on layout build then a running session as a reward. I need to make a all train running vid. No unbox, talk, just running. Got a favorite RR? Perhaps I'll run all B&O.

Thanks for sharing. I'm in the middle of building my layout and get very anxious get it done but as you said "one bite at a time." Great short vid.

fabbdadd, I've reached a plateau on my layout build where I can run trains but have no terrain scenery done. Goal this summer is to scenic my rivers and work up to some mountains. Then the videos will look much better. Thanks for commenting, would love to see your progress.
