@@filosofastone1442 we have a ritual dance in venda it is called Malombo, people dance with drums to summon their ancestors up until they fall to the ground and when they get up they speak in shona they can't understand venda language anymore for a period of 7 days. So there is a huge connection between the shona and venda people

I have never rolled my eyes so much. He is deflecting from the real issues and questions with silly jokes. Truth is he blew his career with the big brother move and coming back after that was tough. Big brother was supposed to launch him into the international market. Aipisa then Roki in Zim and he was young and marketable. Brands would have jumped in him so for him to pretend kuti he didn't know big brother would have had an impact is silly. This was an opportunity to be genuine with his fans asi everything is a joke to him.

My personal 2% - This interview had a lot of potential but was so slow and lacked that catch to keep it going. - I feel the host did not do enough research on Roki…like a simple question on how his collab with Leonard Mapfumo was done “amai” or “chidzoka”’, since those are his best tracks. - Denny J should run the show alone, there was someone at the back, so annoying, he was rather aggressive negatively to say. - Run G was needed here, you feel that loneliness on the show without her she is necessary. - Thank you guys keep it up and I know you will get there, we want to see you hitting the MacG numbers soon…keep the faith.

Denny tried, Roki gave nothing..was just waffling & all over the place. Him and his boss Java need to respect the platforms they are given to interact with the public. They make it look like they are doing the podcast a favour, yet it's a 2 way street. That's why most respected artists get media training. Talent alone is not enough. Now we see why he didn't reach the dizzy heights we all expected him to reach. Dude is all over the place.

Delani compiled an album comprising of upcoming artists in the genres of hip hop, ragga, reggae , R and B, Soul etc. He simply titled the album "Urban Grooves" That's how the name was coined and used by the media to refer to music by the new upcoming artists, who were beneficiaries of Professor Jonathan Moyo's 100% local mantra. Hate or like him, local music as it is now, owes a lot to Professor Moyo.

Kudos to Denny J for actually putting effort in gathering great questions and reining Roki in when he swayed from some of the questions. Chronology would have done better justice to the interview though... 2000 to 2022 year by year, event by event. Overall, this was a great episode! It can only get better..

taura hako this was a chance to connect the dots with other good things that have been said about him with people who got interviewed about chamhembe, the truth Rocky failed to grow with his crowd aka am 46 years old now when i left zim 20 years ago he was the men of the moment but over the years Rocky faded meaning at 46 i nolonger feel his music now becoz he has failed to grow with his crow meaning creating music that resonate with age

The best show in Zimbabwe The Denny J show. Roki was born in 1985. Roki needed to be a bit professional on this one. There are times when one need to be serious and times when one need to be a joker and on this one Roki needed to be very serious and answer easy questions. Jealous down the brother is so talented. Denny J. I need to buy your label.
