When I make small mistakes like you said you did on the cuff of your one sock, I always remind myself that if someone else's eyes are close enough to my socks to see it, then I'll have other problems 🤣

The moment you get cocky about not having any mistakes on your third pair of socks is when everything goes wrong. I have no clue how my gusset decrease went from knitting to purling (knit on the wrong side ?), but I’m leaving it. These socks are for me and it’s all about learning, progress and Summer Sock Camp ! ⛺️

I knit one slip knit heel flap and one plain one. Noticed halfway down the foot and decided to leave them as is. They were for my husband and I'm not even sure he noticed. Mum's the word.

I can't believe how fast some people are getting completed pairs of socks for camp! Makes me wish I didn't have to work full time 😫 I managed to get 1 sock of the first pair done so far but that's with monogamous knitting since June 1st 🙃

I am in the same boat. Work is really getting in the way, and then supper, dishes etc also cuts into time. I'm about 3/4 done with sock 2 of pair one! We'll just keep plugging along 😊🧦

I love that project keeper bag with the campers on it! We are big campers, but we've been slowed down a bit because of fell unloading our camper and tore my ACL, meniscus and strained my calf muscle so I get to look forward to surgery the end of June. I'll make the most of it and be knitting socks while I heal.

I went camping over the weekend and brought my sock project, got to the toe and realized I had forgot to bring DPN's or a magic loop needle so I couldn't finish. Newbie mistake. Luckily I had packed an extra project bag with needle and yarn so at least I could cast on a new pair... Love the Midwest Stitches bag ❤

I have always been happy knitting socks on two 16" circulars, but am trying new ways during Summer Sock Camp. Really enjoying the 9" circular method (confident after watching your video) and I just might be ready to plunge in and knit magic loop. May even go so far as to knit two at a time. So fun, knowing so may others are knitting socks around the virtual campfire with me. Thanks, Kay!

I'm working the Austin Socks pattern with an MCN I got from knitcrate last year called citrus squeeze. Its a pretty orange, yellow, pink color & is working up nicely!! All the goodies ppl have sent for prizes are gorgeous!! Love the camp themed bag & progress keepers/stitch markers!!
