You simply can’t impose your religion upon others. That’s what’s caused all the wars. What about all the other religions in this world?

Heck. What about the differences between religious beliefs in the United States. With the sheer number of Christian denominations that can't agree on what the Bible says, what Christian denomination should we impose? What about the Muslims, Hindi, atheists, and all the other religions? It seems to me that you can't force people to believe. If your religion were so great, people should choose of their own accord.

This has nothing to do with forcing people to become Christians. It is about which moral system is "imposed" in the public sphere in a society. It is impossible to not have a moral system imposed. That's what civil law is: the imposition of morality in the public sphere. It is not "whether" a moral system will be imposed in a society, but "which" system will it be? A society with a growing number of Christians who have been saved by grace, and are being changed from the inside out, will want the civil law of God as outlined in Scripture to be the standard. Why wouldn't they? His law is righteous, just, and loving; the very definition of "good".

@@thegospellibertypodcast9481 With all due respect: What you are writing is pure bullshit!! My father was a pastor in the United Methodist Church and he would never support anything like this. You are trying to impose your religion and beliefs onto EVERYONE and that is not only unethical, but completely disrespectful! Here, if you want the 10 Commandments, then you’ll have to put up the Islamic tenets, plus those of Hindus, Buddhists and on and on! Otherwise, you are violating the Constitution.

@@thegospellibertypodcast9481 you want to live in a country run by and for religion? Read a history book for a once, hint it isn't pretty and means the opposite of liberty. Second, would you like a one way ticket to Saudi Arabian, Iran, or Afghanistan? Third, what is your plan? Handmaid's Tale? Spanish Inquisition?

@davidmehling4310 It is impossible to not live in a country with a religion's moral system as the civil law of a society. The question is: which religion's civil law will it be? The religion of Secular Humanism? Roman deities? The religion of one person's invention? Islam? Christianity? Other? Christ's law is the very definition of righteous, just, and love. Christ's law is, as Scripture teaches, "the law of liberty". Jesus is the Truth. God bless you!
