Does SYSMOD methodology suitable to model production system ?

It works for all types of systems. It is a general MBSE methodology. To meet specific requirements like for production system, SYSMOD must be adapted. But SYSMOD (and any other MBSE methodology as well) should be adapted to the specific needs of a project anyway. An MBSE methodology typically cannot be used effectively out-of-the-box. SYSMOD contains its own process for adaptation: SMAP - SYSMOD MBSE Adaption Process.
