Nico is great, no question about it. However, I think Vols fans should tone it down a bit.

Nico isn't even the factor for the team this year. It's all defense and all running (Dylan Sampson). Nico *is* as good as the hype, but he just hasn't been necessary (yet).

I don't think it's we fans who have been here since the early 90s... I remember watching Tennessee beat everyone every weekend and win the natty. This team actually looks just as good however nico is a freshman and he's going to make mistakes and he's going to have bad games!!! The only good thing about this year that we didn't have or haven't had in 25yrs is that good defense!!!! We're finally good on both sides of the ball and if they want to stop the run that's fine go ahead we will drop the deep ball on you and make you pay because nico is accurate!!! Going to be a great game this weekend and it won't be a blowout like people think

Thats how football goes. Look at how people are talking negative about Georgia while writing off Kentucky's defense. Kentucky's defense ranks number 8 in the country and they havent even played a cupcake yet. Matter of fact, in 3 games the most yards given up by Kentucky was too Georgia with 262 total yards. But everyone is claiming Georgia has issues but nothing about how good UK's defense is.

We'll have a better feel for NC when they play clemson. Then we'll know the value of that win. Doesn't matter. We will have embarrassed OU buy then so we'll have our real answer then.

They took Nico out minutes into the 2nd quarter and put in the backup. Merklinger was in for the 3rd quarter and our 4th and 5th QBs (who I didn't know we had) played the 4th quarter. James Pierce only got 9 snaps in the whole game. What are you talking about when you say they are running the starters too long?

LOL we have played N. C. State. They were ranked. The unranked teams we beaten with by 60 or 70 points. Oklahoma will suffer from our defense. We will lay 40 on them.

Kent state didnt try to do anything but take home a 1.5 million dollar check. Just like the teams Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, played. Its all about the money right.

Not sold OU has an improved D compared to what it was last year. Allowing 9 sacks so far this season. 24 ten yard or more plays defensivly so far this season. Scoring offense of OU foe: Temple 131st, Houston 118th, Tulane 54th and yet those two prior stats happend. The offensive line for OU, has major issues. TE's not blocking, slow scheme execution for OU. Lots of comeback routs not much else, get it, going vanilla but vanilla or not, how was Tulane getting home and getting it down with 4??? TN's defense may not allow OU more than one TD if that. If you can't stop TN's run, game over. If TN is stopping OU's, game over. There are ten ways till today, Tuesday for this TN team to win this game. Longer odds ways that OU will do the things needed to win this game. I'm nto sure OU's offense, is better than NC States, from what I've seen, maybe only slightly but the QB advantage imo, would have to go to McCall of NC State over what we've seen from Arnold, especially comparing the passing so far. Arnold is the rushing offense for OU and if TN keeps his rushing in check, TN wins. But also, Arnold could rush for a hundred and TN could still blow them out. OU's D will tire after all the 3 and outs. TN 51 OU 27. I think TN will be leading by double digits at the half. Great vido and take new guy. Subscribed, GBO!

You do realize Nico stats are not full game stats right!!! Nico played 2 quarters each game except the NC State game where he played 2 and half of the 3rd quarter... Comparing his stats to a quarter back that's played 6 more quarters is not saying anything

@@jonathanlawson4667 It's saying it's scary good numbers for a QB whose only played one half of games and what NIco played vs NC State. I think Arnold is good, I think Nico is elite and I don't know how many even elite QB's started off running an offense that outscored their foe 193-13 over their first 3 games. oh wait, none have done that at least in the SEC. It's saying if NIco played every quarter, what do those QB stats look like? Hmm, more impressive than they are now.

They said we haven't played anybody that's true but look past the surface and look deeper put it in slow Mo and watch put the games we played in 2024 on one TV and put the games from 2022 on the TV next to each other and you'll see the difference The 2022 team was on the cusp taking the step to the next level this team this year that step has been taken look how disciplined they are barely any penalties they're just executing an elite level on all sides of the ball on all levels look at the France 2022 on their tackling and even last year what's the tackling against Florida And then watch it this year and you'll see the difference so you have to look past the surface look Deeper.
