I wish you would have rented or purchased two sections of scaffold for your build then I would have not sweated watching you on ladder top. If you build another PLEASE get some scaffold. If you fall once you could end up like me with a knee bolted back together and a lifetime limp. It only takes one second to fall, I know.

I'm pretty sure it is permitted there. The first thing you do before putting up any type of structure is to check the zoning codes and get approval.
