I read the Cider House Rules before I saw the movie. I imagined the main character Homer Wells to look like Toby Maguire and what do you know? He's the one who played him in the movie.

I haven't read any Stephen King yet either! I have Thinner, Joyland, and The Shining, so which one should I start with? It's interesting that you mentioned your physical reaction to Drowning, because that leads to the next question I wanted to ask you! Is there a book that made you have a strong or extreme physical reaction, whether it made you angry, sad, frustrated, scared, etc.? Which book was it and why did it make you feel that way? Thank you for always answering my crazy questions!

Stephen Kings best book to me is 11/22 /63. I can relate to that time period. I hated for it to end

I feel like a lot of classics are dry so I get that. 11/22/63 and Fairytale are really good by Stephen King and they're not gory. His early books are somewhat frightening.
