I know there are many people who want a cockpit but don't know how to make one and thinks it's hard. I created this channel to show you guys the easiest, fastest way to build panels. I've accumulated years of experience building another aircraft cockpit, the A-10C. Now I feel the fastest way is NOT use CNC, use only one layer panel, no backlighting. Design, print. Wire. Enter pin numbers in DCS Bios and fly! Also, the examples I'd be showing is not just for the F-15E. The same approach and lessons can be applied to any aircraft in DCS of your liking, or BMS or MSFS civilian aircraft. Of course for MSFS one needs to use a different interface software like MobiFlight or AirManager instead of DCS Bios.

Some people asked me on Facebook why not just use bodnar boards. Easy without need for code. Agreed on the easy part. But they are not cheap compared to arduino. when u want to build a full pit that requires 5 to 6 mega equivalent boards they add up to a few hundred $. I’m just showing a cheaper way. By all means use bodnar boards. And I think they don’t handle output like lcd, 7 segments etc. Also dcs bios doesn’t really need you to know coding. For input switches, It’s done for you. Just find the code for the aircraft, panel and switch that you are trying to wire and enter the PIN number in the given code.

It's very good what you've done here, it's just a bit long. I can draw the same thing you did in 7 - 8 minutes with Corel which is just as good.

Very great, have been following along in all the vids so far. I've been purchasing per panel the toggles and switches. But I was wondering, do you have a list of components you need for the whole build (how many and type of switches, buttons, etc) that you could share?

I'd didn't compile total components used so far on a spreadsheet. You should wait till the end so you don't keep paying for shipping. Also you want to buy extra coz sometimes things may arrive dead and then you have to ask for replacement or refund etc. As I make the videos, I retest everything in case things can be improved or corrected. So nothing is final till all videos are done. That is when I'm satisfied with everything. So now I hesitate to recommend all switches till proven good.

@@kevinpeterson4051 What I can assure you is that if you follow my tutorials and build the panels and buy the same type of switches, not only will they fit, but you will have a full, complete F-15E cockpit at the end which will be awesome to fly in. Every panel and switch, lever will be covered. Btw, new video on Sensor panel just released.

Nice information, but you have got to clean up your audio. That's probably the most important part of making videos like this, if you want people to listen and come back to your channel.
