Seen a Tvan last week. Camping next to us. The couple were on their second one said it's the best van off-road can go anywhere. Price wise they are very high-end

Hi I was wondering about your options on the tucana teardrop campers?

They have a very loyal band of owners. Feel if you are looking for a camper that you may tow behind your SUV that you'll use mainly onroad or light dirt road usage, they'd be pretty good. I'm not sure if you'd use the table setup inside as you'd have to unmake the bed but the option is there. Owners only seem to complain about the cushions used for the mattress (a mattress topper should fix that). Love the passthrough from the kitchen for morning coffee. If using mainly in caravan parks, the 12 volt system is fine, if looking for off grid use, you may need some upgrades to battery and solar at some point. Chinese made camper but no-one appears to have any issues. The importer, Stonegate industries appears to do the right thing by owners as you never hear too much negative. Hope that helps!

I've just pointed out issues as I see them, if it suits your price point and requirements it's the camper for you.

@@DarrylSheather Don't really have a price point. More of a size point. Something small, rugged and built very well.

Jayco is very disappointing, maybe they should consintratrate on their fifthwheel & motorhomes!(which they do a great job!)
