Subh’hanallaah how beautiful, The title and the story reminded me of when I went for Umrah a few years ago... It was near the end of my time in Makkah Mukkarama and I had yet to see let alone touch the hajjaral Aswad, I stood to one side against the ka’aba away from the throng of unruly people near the black stone and made dua and pleaded with Allaah to make a safe halaal path to touch the stone, my daughter wanted to leave after waiting a while, but I refused.... I told her if Allaah can part the Sea for Musa AS then surely he will make a way for me....within minutes I have no recollection how! I was at the stone all was calm and no one was touching me... I was so surprised I didn’t know what to do... that was Divine Intervention!

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ مَنْ يَشَآءُ  ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ "He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty." (QS. Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 74) Therefore we should ask Allah for his فضل by asking him: اللهم اني اسالك من فضلك.
