Preachers are pushing for Christians to live in works rather than by grace. All the 613 laws of the Old Testament have been abolished (including tithing) by Jesus Christ through him laying down his life to ransom mankind. Galatians tells us any of the law brings curses. More so the priestly order ran by Levites is no longer in operation because Jesus has brought about a new priesthood order composed of all born again Christians-

Too long explanation by the most controversial Damina! When explanation is too long, something is wrong! We walk by faith and not by sight. So, is Damina saying David was wrong to pay dearly for sacrifice to seek for mercy to avert God's wrath? Damina did not watch the trucks filled with food (all sorts) distributed by Ashimolowo to people in Ibadan- that was massive! When God blesses the tither, He makes him/ her a blessing! Ashimolowo operates in the UK and there are regulatory bodies there. You don't think he's using Church money for himself. Damina should emulate such act of charity ( If at all he has such money!) The Scriptures can NEVER be broken : Luke 6:38- Give and it shall be give to you... Enough of all these noise! Ashimolowo is blessed; he is a tither!

tithe is not for born again Christians- that practice implies that Jesus Christ’s death is not enough. If you must pay tithe then you have to go and practice the remaining 612 laws of Moses- why pick and choose the ones to keep in order to satisfy your mammon driven pastor(s)?
