When Bob’s old friend Clive, (who is a real drunken slob), is dumped by his wife, Bob lets him stay for a few days despite Margaret’s objections. Margaret herself is preoccupied with work, as she is supervising the placement of an eager young chiropody student, Nathan. Clive, jealous of the trust between Bob and Margaret, does his best to make Bob suspicious of Margaret and her student. Bob has absolute faith in Margaret until he finds a pair of men’s underwear in Margaret’s coat pocket...
