I had a stressful and tiring week, and when today hit, at about 4pm, my brain suddenly thought " LIFE IN JAPAN EPISODE 200!!" I quickly went home and ate dinner while watching. It's truly enjoyable watching the flashbacks and the kids performances . Well done Reutter kids 👏🏻 I can't believe it's been more than a year since I found your family and every week is enjoyable! My favourite one will still have to be the ninja restaurant because its so unique!

Congratulations on 200 video posts! As I am single, I saw a very dazzling warm family living in a country with a different language. The growth of your kids, the wisdom of life, the way you enjoy yourself and the positive way of thinking, even in hard times, all of these things have changed me. 'It's very difficult for me to choose a favorite video from 'Life in Japan'. I am so grateful to have found 'Life in Japan'😊

My favourite episodes are always the hikes (with or without the children) showing the beautiful scenery in Japan. I also really enjoying episodes about school in Japan because in the '80s-'90s I had several Japanese penpals who were school age like me and I always wanted to see what their schools were like.

My favourite episodes were the ones where you were looking for a new place to live, moved all your furniture and made a new home. I had to move in the same timespan that these videos were released and it was so nice to see you manage and overcome all these stressful things that I was going through. It helped me get through the stress of my own move a little better too :)
I'm just a spectator watching the LIFE IN JAPAN videos, but even though I'm not a family member, I always look forward to seeing the growth and behavior of your family's children. I'm so glad that you and your family are having a good time. You can forget the sad events that are happening in the world for a little while.

Nate and Ruth I want to thank you all and your your children for what you all have done for my daughter and myself. The other day my daughter Bethany was having a really rough time with life in general. Nate answered to her on his Instagram. We watch you out all the time. It's nice to see a good clean program like this to watch. And I thank you all for dedicating your life for Christ and helping people abroad. I was going into missions and God had other plans for me instead. But I still support and pray for all missionaries that are abroad and that are here now in the United States. May God bless you all and your family.😊

Happy 200th episode!! 🎉🎉 I'm so glad I found your channel. Watching your videos has been a weekly highlight for us for quite some time now. It's just impossible to name one single favourite episode, because the channel is filled with so many gems! I will only say that the episodes that showed the kids' graduation and the farewells during your move (the twins conducting, you saying goodbye to your old home, ...) were especially touching and made a lasting impression. 😊 The best of luck and ganbatte!

~~ Congratulations on the 200th episode!!! that's quite a milestone. I've gone back and watched quite a few other videos since I discovered your channel and my favorites are usually experiences - the girls graduating Elementary and Josh's Tanabata Matsuri because they showed a picture of Japanese celebration and promotion. ~~ I loved the camping trip where ultimately you guys had to navigate the Japanese healthcare system because it showed the love everyone has for each other, and it was such a beautiful thing to witness (and I'm so glad Joshua healed completely with no issues.) ~~ And of course the Amazon video was probably my all time favorite haha, that was such an amazing experience and I'm glad your family was able to experience it. There are so many videos that I didn't mention, but I love your channel and I'm looking forward to more of Life in Japan this year!

My favorite episodes are when you visited your family in the US in 2021. It was during some of the most strict regulatory periods for travel between Japan and the US due to COVID but you showed your experience that gave me a lot of hope because I was planning on taking my small family from Okinawa back to the states to visit family later that year. If you can do it with four kids then I thought I could do it with my one. Thank you
