EPISODE 21 | VIJAYAWADA TO CHENNAI | TIGER 1200 GREAT INDIA ADVENTURE | 16.11.2022

Travelogue from the 16th of November riding from Vijayawada to Chennai, a slow start to the day hunting SD cards that would hopefully address the data corruption issues, I reached Guntur to check-in with Abhinav who helped me throughout the programme at Vijayawada.
Post learning that the cards were not available I set off for the larger city on the Coromandel Coast, Chennai. I touched upon my plan for the coming weeks leading up to India Bike Week in Goa on the 2nd and 3rd of December. The route will be touching all the major attractions of the southern tip of the Indian peninsula and the Konkan coast.
As is usual, the last 10km into the city of Chennai took most of my energy, thanks to the traffic. Here's to looking for an eventful set of days in the cultural capital of India.

Distance Between Fuel Cap and Mobile too Close ! Is it Safe like this ???

It's not fuel cap, it's the hydraulic clutch tank. There's a lot of space between fuel tank and mobile mount, gopro has wide angle lens which makes things in the center look closer to each other

@@CarbonRP LOL Areee What Your Reply bro I m not a Nubee, Mobile is to close to the open fuel tank while filling a big amount of fumes throw out So Scarcasticly is it Safe I Said. What if Mobile is Hot due to it being under sun for hours.... may be!!! Go Pro is on Wide View, has nothing to do with it I see the Explorer under my building every day, I know the space between the Mobile mirror Mount and the Fuel tank..... Hence Fuel Cap!!!

When UPI was taking off, the govt. wrote to the FIPI (Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry) asking whether it was safe for mobile phones to be used at petrol bunks. They reported that the usage is safe in prescribed limits, and per experience and general notion, there isn't any risk posed to the rider or the motorcycle with the setup.

The key to cornering is picking a line, committing to it and decelerating/accelerating depending on the curve you spot. Hug the tank, place weight on the opposite footpeg to the side you you are leaning, this will give you greater leverage and control while in the turn. As known, accelerate once you cross the apex and exit without losing momentum.
