I did my Bachelor’s of Engineering over 15 years ago. Doing BE in Nepal with or without a scholarship was affordable, and abroad study was significantly expensive. However, going abroad is not as expensive as studying in Nepal without a scholarship at present. It is an easy decision for families and young kids due to the condition of the country and the costly education we created in the last 10-15 years.

*You talked about youths returning back to Nepal but what about Quality of life...many of my relatives working in government sectors are even in plan to go abroad either applying for PhD or direct PR and in plan to settle down there. I'm just 19...It might sound pity..but Nepal should legalise Surrogates birth.Global fertility rate is really dropping or many woman want baby but don't want to be pregnant. Underprivileged women can benefit economically out of it. We can generate even foreign income out of it. There must be some policy related to it. *Nepal can focus down in fashion industry...Person like Prabal Gurung has achieved success in Global Fashion Industry and Nepal should emphasize such personal... *We can export Green Hydrogen and Ammonia or even self sufficient. Self sufficient in domestic Iron and different minerals. *Must focus down in Sino-Nepal railway and act as trade hub between Indian States and China. *Self sufficient in most agricultural is must needed for better economy. *Should focus down in Global Data Centre shifting towards Nepal. Anyway you are really inspiring & influencing, Bigyan Sir!

Go settle in abroad and then speak about quality of life. I am in australia for 6 years and personally doing great and I have realised that if you are far from your community, culture like ours, festivals, sense of belongings all these thing need to be there for a human to have quality life. Western world only offer convenience and miserable in other human aspect. The concept itself of working all your life to just own a house which again you have to sell it to go live in care home is a scam for me atleast.
