Im still learning about whiskey in general. This triple mash tasted like a cinnamon stick that was lit on fire and wrapped in oak barrel splinters. One sip burned my tongue up

I just picked up a bottle and I love it. My only con is that the taste drops off so quickly and it should be more chewy. It needs a thick mouth feel. But it has become one of my faves so far.

Hi Judge. Great review. My store has it for $47. But, it’s a liter!! I get cake. More like angel food cake or a biscuit. Frosted with like a cherry vanilla or almondy banana runts. It’s definitely not grandpa’s JD. Love your show!!

Ive tried both and liked both a lot for different reasons. Glad they arent hard to find in any way. Need more good new standard releases that arent expensive. Both are a buy for me. We had very different experiences from this. Very different tasting notes and i didnt find it thin at all. I thought the best quality was the viscosity and way it sat on the palate.

For the metric rest of the world which buys 700 ml. Plus, lots of products have shrink in volume since the new regime.

@@toniwilsey2763 the majority of the world are on the metric system and sells liquor in 700 milliliters quantities. The US is on the standard measuring system in which liquor was initially sold in 1/5 bottles ie one fifth of a gallon. That being said, the TTB is soon allowing 700 ml bottles to be sold in the states soon thus shrinking the 750 to 700. This will make it easier to buy and sell overseas with the same standard bottle size as a consumer you will get less product. Probably for the same cost. Shrinkflation is the practice of reducing the size of a product while maintaining its sticker price.

Yeah...I've tried to give JD product more looks...but it just falls flat for me at every level, with so many other comparably priced but much better options out there. I try...probably because of it's iconic brand marketing, but it just doesn't pull money from my wallet- I was excited on the nosing...but, sounds like typical Jack. Oh well.

When it comes to anything Jack Daniels - A split-decision is a solid No-Buy. I'm a huge Brown Foreman fan (and shareholder), but the Jack Daniels brand is a bottom shelf bottle by default for me, so unless you rave that it's a spectacular offering, I'm always gonna be a hard pass on JD.

I was lucky enough to try this one as well as the Bonded. For me, Bonded is much better. You get the traditional sweet and banana flavor profile amped up and with more depth. I would buy a bottle of the Bonded but pass on the Triple Mash.
