Honestly, so could The Heavy. The "this is my weapon" speech is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect a Toreador to say about a weapon they view as a work of art, be it an intricately etched gilded dagger or a GAU-17 built to such high quality standards of gunsmithing that it could put 6,000 rounds through a pinhole with next to zero felt recoil.

I’ll say that along with the Brujah, I’ve always seen the Toreador as being one of the most emotional clans (and one of the closest to humanity). Desperate to regain that spark of life that they lost when they gained immortality. I like the idea of a creature obsessed with connection and companionship. One who’s desperate to regain the spark that is possibly forever out of their reach. They might become burnout over time as their intense connection to mortal lives inevitably comes to an end. Maybe a Grim Reaper Toreador might be able to make better peace with this cycle or a Farmer.

My Toreador is capable of projecting some very strong emotions into her work almost giving them a subliminal effect. She's going to soon have an existential crisis when pressure is put on her to use it for politics. Making beauty do ugly work. She was a reserved person before the embrace and being able to suddenly and effortlessly command attention (at least most of the time) is something she struggles to balance. I don't know if she will learn to like being an extrovert or if she'll just learn to put on a really good show.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I swear. I needed this 3 months ago when I got invited in The Deadly Rose's Bucharest by Night game. :))) I play a Toreador... and it went a bit off the beaten path. A Dark Toreador is one creepy kind of vampire. we are close to finishing (last session this Sunday) then we retire these characters. Next up on the roster: a Lasombra. Regardless, thank you for the lore and info :)

Love the video LBN! One of the things I think player forget is there is beauty in many things that don’t always involve art, singing, poetry, or beauty. For instance a Toreador that sculpts a prince’s economic portfolio or the beautiful precision of a kill. 🧛♂️

Once watched a pc toreador stage actor solo an angelis ater edgelord pc, become the cities hero during a siege forge an allience between his clan and the tremere then position himself as primogen. Underestimate toreador at your peril.

To Shake things up I'd make a Toreador that is borderline Malkavian by using Premonitions and art in general as a way to convey said premonitions as a way to get to the bottom of where does fate lead you and can you actually lead it instead of the way around, directing and influencing the fate and future through art, a mad obsessive artististc pursuit of sorts. What do you think of this idea?

What are the clans that are the most well adjusted to modern days? Also what I'd love to hear more about is the Tremere and the rest of the Clans night to night life and how to make the most of it while staying on brand without the sense of metagaming while maintaining the sense of immersion and believability.

Everything a Toreador does is an art form. They will fight beautifully, die beautifully and kill beautifully and for anything is art. Art may be murder or anything that Toreador is consider expression of art. All the Clubs are a stage and the Toreador is what you call director or the life of the Party. I wouldn't do Toreador that is highly social and is a unlike of the party. The thing with art is some times sculpture and paintings can make this clan a stereotype. I would start what is my character art in life and how it change in unlife. I would lean heavily on Auspex and Celerity because for my character is about being a chameleon meaning she or he is can navigate high society and street life just as easily. Basically a Pretty Assassin and kills the enemy of the sect. Under the beauty of the Rose true nature has a lot of thorns. I would like a Toreador to be other than an Socialite or another Victoria Ash. Kindred are dead things and wouldn't be interested in

My idea for a Toredor which I sadly didn't have an opportunity to try is more heavy combat-focused. I was thinking of a gunslinger type for VtM or Vampire: The Wild West. Heavily inspired by Jhin from League of Legends or some followers of Slaanesh from Warhammer settings. A vampire that treats any combat like a stage to perform, to dance, to move, to kill with elegance and precision unmatched. A mix of celerity and auspex helps in it.

Love the video I love my Toreador character too be obsessed with random things like tattoos that fade because of the healing factor or an posoer who is obsessed with pain or driving other kindred too kill themselves over decades and centuries of gaslighting or a poet who is obsessed with the idea of love adorned the video
