I don't usually knit magic loop, because it's a struggle for me - but when I do, I love to do two socks at a time on the needles. It takes a bit longer to knit (also because I struggle with magic loop), but it's so awesome to bind off 2 socks at once!😊

The Swifty Hat is so nice! Great fit! I started listening to some of Taylor's older albums. Reputation, and 1989 I think? My granddaughter put them on my phone. I tell you, she has a way with words! Looking forward to seeing your Opal yarn. That yarn is a great work horse! I have started knitting up wips, (socks) and cast on a DK, which is so quick to work with. I ordered , I think it was Freckled Whimsey, the theme The Parent Trap. Looking forward to that! I hope your husband is doing better!

I’m trying to learn how to match socks including how to wind into 2 cakes so each sock has the same weight, etc…. Good morning Lisa. OMG. So many finished objects this past week. You certainly do know this craft lady. I finished the first freckled whimsey Halloween subscription sock. Nice bright colors. So much fun. This is my second club next to Yarnable. Not sure on how to match for the second one. Can you explain for me and others alike? I would appreciate your help and guidance.

I put my slip knot right at a color change. I use the long tail cast on for my socks.

This isn't telling me much Lisa. I know that part. I heard your suppose to knit the second sock from the inside of the skein. And the first one I knitted from the outside. If I do that the stripping would backward in the color sequence. To Do you get it now? Please fully explaine how you manage yours.

If I have 2 skeins of yarn I make sure the stripe repeat is going on the same direction. If I’m knitting from the outside I make sure I’m knitting from the 2nd skein on the outside. If I’m not adding a contrast heel flap & turn I’ll knit from the inside of the cake. After I’m done with the heel, I’ll cut the yarn and go back to knitting the rest of the sock from the outside of the skein.

I just cast on 8 stitches and split it for magic loop. (4 stitches on each needle) That pin hole cast on is so fiddly. I’ve also heard people doing a crochet magic ring, and then picking up the stitches with knitting needles. Hope you give it a try!

I feel the same about TTPD - very dense lyrics and so hard to narrow down my favourite. I too don’t want to listen to anything else but TS and have not been downloading any audio books lol 🫶
