This week we’re fishing at two locations, the Willow Flowage, and then on to a lake closer to home in Waukesha County.
Pro Guide Jeff Winters has been the master of the different flowages in northern Wisconsin for many years, and we’re out chasing walleyes on the WIllow Flowage in Oneida County. Chasing is the most appropriate term here, because we couldn't quite catch them in the myriad of spots that Jeff knows. We transitioned to bass later on in the day, but by the time we got the pattern down, we’d run out of time. Whether we’re catching or not, the Flowage is a natural beauty, and a great place to spend a day.
For part two, we invite Henry Abbott out to a lake closer to home, and get after some bass. We find them mainly in the weeds, and weed through enough of them to find a few nice sized ones mixed in. All in all, a great summer day on the water.

Can’t get a bunch of fillets off a 20 incher without buying a new knife or sharpener after dulling them on the y’s….😢 not a fan of picked either. 5 and a half pound bass are abundant when you hold them 5 inches from the camera…come on John
