800g in a month is great! It’s kinda crazy the MKAL can take so much time and focus and be less than 400g. I’m loving it so far this year. I hope it stays this good, or even gets better!

Hope your vaccines are going well. We have a Toyota Prius. Same issues with the front lights. Our friend has a shop, so he does it for us. Be glad you are doing it before the death of winter. You need hooks behind you to hang your shawls on so we can see them. Not a Steven West design fan but do enjoy his creativity.

I 100% agree with you. It's kinda fiddly, but I like it. I kept messing up my 3rd semicircle and having to restart so I'm behind now...getting a little stressed to finish clue 1 by Thursday 😬 It was hilarious when you said you don't like to knit the same thing over and over (part A of course 1) - and then talk about knitting sock #754 😂

You really have me tempted to cast on a scrappy Musselburgh…lol but I need to finish up more of my Christmas gift knitting.. I’m having my left hip replaced Tuesday 15th….decided I wasn’t getting my flu and Covid shots until after surgery! No way do I want to take a chance on getting sick. 😏

If your oldest prefers the look of the afterthought heel, you could try the Fish Lips Kiss Heel. Its my favorite heel and quicker than heel flap and gusset, in my opinion!

My husband has a Chevy truck. Same with the headlights. My hand is small enough that I can reach in there and pinch the clasp to release the bulb and put the new bulb in. My hand ends up all scratched but I refuse to pay that much to replace a light bulb.

For your Musselburgh, what length needles do you use? I tried knitting one but had to use magic loop because of the length of my needles. Took way too long! Love your progress on the mkal. ❤

I use magic loop 32” for the decreases & increases. I use a 16” for the body of the hat.

So the new MKAL is a bit fidely. I think I've heard you use that word before. Everyone has a knitting project or more that gives us that. When I started knitting socks it was fidely and I almost gave up which eventually turned into my daily passion. We all know when any podcaster shows us a skein of yarn or an existing project on screen we see a different color then you do. Your reputation hat you gave us the colors you see and I'm like WHAT. I saw purple and brown. So sorry to hear that the head lights replacement on his vehicle is so high but a suppose it's better then having to purchase a new appliance. Alright enough of me. I ilke the the new cosy memory blanket Lisa. A great start for 500 squares. Extremely long term projects require a lot of patience. Have a great week family. Awesome granny has new Christmas bags out. I just gotta ( sic) have that red and white santa bag. Ken😊❤

Love the socks! Season 21 of Grey's Anatomy started. Are you still against getting an antenna for your tv? I got one under $20 from amazon and it works great. Trying to be prepared for when the internet goes down. I can still get local programming like ABC-NBC-etc!!

I have a cheap hand yarn winder. I don’t recommend it. 🤣 I need to invest in a nicer one.
