Sorry I'm late on this, but just wanted to say great discussion boys. Glad you guys had fun with this recording lol. Favre was an absolute terror for me as a 49ers fan in the 90s. If not for him, the 49ers probably at least get another ring during that decade. 1995, 1996, 1997, and 2001 were such demoralizing losses I hate Green Bay with a passion to this day (at least we got him in 1998). I have to say as a football player, he was a marvel to watch in terms of arm talent though. Arm was a howitzer for sure. The definitive gunslinger. Too bad he's done some shady things in recent years that soured his reputation.

@@astrostar49 Thanks so much for listening as always! Glad you enjoyed the episodes. Yeah, that ‘95 NFC Divisional was wild. Those turnovers really hamstrung the Niners and they definitely would’ve beat Dallas & Pittsburgh had they got through. T.O.’s catch to win in ‘98 was almost enough to erase the previous three games, but definitely stings. Shame about Favre considering how much of an icon he was. But he made his own bed, sadly.
