They do pay taxes but they are not able to file tax to claim taxes refunds. They work and receive minimum wage with no benefit except get overtime compensation if they work more than 40 hrs. Some employers do not pay overtime at all, which legal resident would get more for the same job and various benefits. Doing the same job would cost an employers $1 for undocument person and $7 for legal and US citizen. Yes, they do get medical care only if they have emergency medical condition and hospitalization. But they pay alot to the system by saving a ton of money for employers.

@@chanphoieng1650 Not all of them pay their fair share. You made a great point but some of those undocumented immigrants have been here in CA for decades and they never paid a penny in taxes. Some of them work under the table like in construction , restaurants or landscaping ect. I own a business here and I see them and talk to them regularly. Some of them get free dental, vision care, prescription drugs and medical supplies here in CA. CA is the only state to offer free full healthcare to eligible undocumented immigrants. It seems unfair….
