I have a Chris Alston subframe under my 69 Camaro. Put a faceplated T56 behind my low deck big block. Went right in. Correct driveshaft angle, NO ISSUES

I had to modify my tunnel. I have a 69 firebird. I want to do a wide body on my car. Hit my up I have some questions if you have time. I used a different cross brace.

Nice work! Did you use 18 gauge sheet metal for the tunnel?
@SKIDMARKperformance Жыл бұрын
I used 14 gauge-it is easier to weld and less likely to warp

Use a pice of 1/8” or 3/16 cold roll steel to weld in for panel gap. U probably already know just trying to help

Well your shifter should be nice and close to the steering wheel

If the car isn't sitting on it's wheels when you adjust the gaps, they will ALL change when you sit it down on the actual suspension.
@MarkSawatsky Жыл бұрын
yes, we have accounted for that and will make adjustments once it's sitting on the wheels. We don't expect as much of a shift as a stock car because the car now has a full frame and roll cage so it is significantly stiffer than a stock car

Did you not know you have to mod the tunnel for a magnum?
@MarkSawatsky2 жыл бұрын
Over the past year I have seen the question asked on the Facebook pages several times and there's always a few people that say "I bolted it in there with no mods" while others disagreed, so I really didn't know for sure. I was prepared to modify it if necessary, and it was definitely necessary
