Just found this show recently and love listening to you ladies! I'm a big time football chick and have no ladies to share my joy of football with, so it's nice coming here and listening to other strong females loving football!! When it comes to the name change, I agree with the legal name change but if you don't want your on screen name to change stick with what you got. It is much easier having the same last name as your child. As a mother with 2 different baby daddy's I always had to explain the reason for the older ones different last name. Again, for convenience of legal reasons I'd go with changing the last name. On air stay what you became popular with.

Sending tons of love and praying y’all are safe!! My boyfriend & I were talking about some of the players names and I wondered how often you guys practice the pronunciation of different player’s names? . . . I’ve been walking around my house saying “Puka Nacua” “Puka Nacua””Puka Nacua” 😅I’ll never get it right! Must be super stressful trying to learn every single player’s name!! Love the show, both of you are awesome ! ❤🎉

I am a huge fan of the show! You are both so amazing and I feel like I am hanging with my Girlfriends when I am listening! :) When I got married I didn't change my last name. I didn't think it was necessary and because I own a business and didn't want to go through the hassle of updating everything to my new name. My husband didn't mind. Once we had our daughter I decided to change my name. Whenever I would fill out paperwork at the doctor, activities, daycare, flights, etc. I felt like I had to explain that I was her Mom even though we have different last names. It made me feel self-conscious so I decided to change my name. I used a company that populated all of the paperwork I needed. It was still a tedious task, but I am happy that I did it. I don't think it is necessary to change your name and I didn't until I wanted to.

Praying you all are safe. I grew up in Los Angeles/Pasadena and it has been devastating watching this all and hearing about many, many friends growing up whose family homes have been lost. Charissa, I’ve been thinking about you and your animals. I don’t know where they are; it’s none of my business, but praying all is safe.

You two are are so fun to listen to! Erin, no need to change your name. Took me 5yrs to decide to add a hyphen the first time I got married. And 5yrs to drop both the maiden and hyphen the second time. Huge pain in the ass and way too much paperwork. Your Mackie Doodle is going to be proud of his mom, Erin Andrews. Love your show, you too! (Here for you two, your love of TS, football insights, and female empowerment btw) Thank you both for recording your podcast!

Ah, one more thing. Charissa, I love when you compliment Sherm. I live in WA and “fell in love” with football by learning about Richard Sherman and The Legion of Boom. I own 1 jersey, the jersey of the man who started my love affair with the game. Thanks again!! 💙💚

27 years ago I added my husband’s name to my own (without hyphen). I didn’t stop using my own name at work for several years. Once kids were in school it was so much easier to all have the same last name, so I switched to just using his name. BUT, that was a LONG time ago and we live in small town Midwest… draw your own conclusions. In today’s world, I can only assume that teachers et. al. are completely accustomed to parents with different last names, especially with known people. Don’t change it. Side note: I wanted to revert my name legally but state laws and requires my husband and I to appear before a judge and my husband has to sign off on it. See aforementioned point - draw your own conclusions. It’s bullshit.

Married 40 years, I am 61. I regret not keeping my maiden name as hyphenated . It is fine either way. No judgement here. I had a career but no kids for 10 years. Then when I went back into workforce after being a SAHM, I regretted not having my maiden name still part of me. I never felt it until I became older. You are still a wife , always a mother but your maiden name is a piece of you. As you age, you grind to identify as you. Not necessarily someone’s, mom or wife. Hope that helps. Love you both and your show.

My gosh, yes! I regret not hyphenating my name/ keeping my maiden name. It's my identity. It's who I am. I am a Mom, and all those other things but I am also ME
