80/81 yt125 dont have that spring on the shift shaft and no post to left of shift shaft. Between shift adjuster there is is a spring to get the shifter to center to neutral spot on 80/81 bottom end. To tell the year of bottom end for 80/81 it will be 3x3 or 4u4 case number.

They don’t, when I was replacing the clutches on my 80’ YT125G there was no spring on the shift shaft
