Can’t forget that famous picture though, where Jackie covered in blood and lost her husband is being made to stand there whilst LBJ is being sworn in, and Lady Bird is clearly smiling, all happy for herself. Speaks volumes. LBJ and her were horrible.

Jackie chose to remain dressed as she was when Jack was shot. She wanted them to see what "they" had done to him. Lyndon was very fond of her & invited her to live at the WH a while. Of course, she declined. {RIP all}
