I have to disagree with you about BMWs, I’ve always been disappointed by them and have never felt that I’ve missed out by not following the fashion. My previous bike was a Honda ST1300, a Pan European which I owned for nine years. I never once felt any envy towards BMW owners. It eventually lost out to a smaller bike, still a Honda which suits my daily use much better and is just as good a tourer.
