So i binged Baby Reindeer after you guys talked about it. You can tell it was written by someone who has actually went through mental and sexual abuse because his reaction to everything was so accurate. As someone who has been through alot of trauma, i understood every decision he made. He responds to trauma the same way i do, by Fawning. And the self deprication and spiral he has from his confusion and pain is so relatable. The abuse of men is definitely a topic that needs to be talked about more. Its so much more common then people think

And “Meet The Parents” with an all black cast would be 🔥. AND I think either Denzel would be the perfect father because the exact same reason DeNiro was. Before “Meet The Parents” DeNiro, to my knowledge, never did a comedy before either. At least, he wasn’t known for them. And him doing “Meet The Parents” is what intro’d him into the comedy spectrum. I think Denzel could do it as well. However, if not him, then I’d go with Giancarlo Esposito as the dad.
