How to solve homelessness starts at STOPPING AGES as early as 10 years old from starting to smoke, vape, drugs, and alcohol. Schools, doctors, etc. need to identify students who are headed towards a lifestyle that they drop out of school or become non-employable once they graduate (addiction) and rely on the government to keep them. If the students and parents were helped to guide the children to have a healthy lifestyle and be productive in society, they would be in a position where they would not become homeless and dependent on social services.

Agreed. "Homelessness' is the effect of drug addiction, not the cause. Canada and the U.S. could also put their foot down on the fentanyl precursors that China is bringing in to Mexico.
