The while label is fantastic the wheated is very good too tons of chocolate but I might slightly prefer the white label. Cheers Judge

I visited Bardstown Bourbon Co. this past November and we were able to sample the wheated bourbon straight from the barrel in the rickhouse tasting room. I liked it there and can't wait to sample both of these. They are already on the shelf here in Ohio. By the way, if anyone is planning on visiting some distilleries in Kentucky, this is one of the best tours that I have taken.

Was there around the same time and had barrel samples of all three---rye, wheated and high rye bourbon. They were all outstanding but the rye was probably even better than the wheated. So I've been excited for Origin, but even I wasn't expecting 3 gavel good!

The high rye really opened up after a couple days for me and developed a nice chocolate note. Bottle is a hitter at twice the price but it absolutely slaps most every other $40 bottles. Hits well above its price point. Still need to pick up the wheated. Love what Bardstown has done and love the direction they are going with their own distillate.

I just bought a bottle of the BIB yesterday and tried it tonight and yes it is so delicious! I am a big fan of Weller 107 and for me anyway I think it is right up there with that! Your review is spot on and like you I love the price! Way to go Bardstown! I think I will have another sip. Oh Judge you’ve got me salivating for the BIB. I have the straight bourbon and it’s really good. Can’t wait to get my hands on that BIB. I love wheated bourbons too. Is this the Weller killer we’ve all been waiting for? I love OWA 107 but if this is 3 gavels good! Please compare to some other wheated whiskey. Cheers!
