Always call the shipper or receiver. The broker doesn't know anything other than what's on paper most of the time. ALWAYS CALL DIRECTLY.

You really need to get you a 35+5 trailer and sell the one you got .I have 5 trucks running 4 car hauling and I flat deck 40 foot then you don't have to worry about that stuff

You should look into getting an EFS card from Open Roads. You'll save a lot more than that on fuel. I save .50 plus per gallon with it.

I'm a little concerned about the weight of those conveyors....Do you ever check your weight close to shippers before you get on the road?

Noticing that your ramps have some sort of locking devise when they are folded up. Do they rattle at all? Some guys seem to run a strap over them...

Yes it has clamps and no they don’t rattle or make any noise

From my experience in hot shot trucking if I was transporting that conveyor belting I would have put 2 chains in each of them to make sure that they didn't come loose at all. It's always better to be safe than sorry and your only talking a couple extra minutes of your time and a lot less to worry about driving down the highway.
